Your privacy matters deeply to me. This notice explains clearly and honestly what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and how I keep it safe. I will never sell your data or use it for anything other than providing my therapy services.

What Personal Data I Collect
I collect personal data in the following ways:
- Contact form: when you submit an enquiry via my website, I collect your first name, last name, email address, your area of interest, and any message you choose to include.
- Email correspondence: if you email me directly, I collect your name and email address, and any information you share in your message.
- Therapy sessions: if you become a client, I may keep brief confidential session notes as required by my professional obligations as a BWRT® practitioner.
I do not collect any data automatically (such as cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics) through this website.
Why I Collect Your Data
I collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free Discovery Consultation
- To provide online BWRT® therapy sessions to you as a client
- To fulfil my professional and legal obligations as a certified BWRT® practitioner
- To contact you regarding your appointments or therapy
The legal basis for processing your data is your consent (by submitting the contact form or emailing me directly) and, for existing clients, the performance of our therapeutic agreement.
How I Store Your Data
Your enquiry data submitted via the contact form is processed securely by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form handling service. Web3Forms forwards your submission to me by email and does not store your data long-term on their servers.
Any client session notes are kept securely offline in an encrypted format, accessible only to me.
I use Zoom for online therapy sessions. Zoom has its own privacy policy which you can review at zoom.us/privacy. Sessions are not recorded without your explicit consent.
How Long I Keep Your Data
- Enquiries that do not become clients: I will delete your contact details within 6 months of your initial enquiry if no therapeutic relationship is established.
- Client records: in line with professional guidance for therapy practitioners, I retain client records for a minimum of 7 years after the end of our therapeutic relationship, after which they are securely destroyed.
Who I Share Your Data With
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- With Web3Forms solely for the purpose of transmitting your contact form enquiry to me
- With Zoom for the purpose of conducting online sessions
- Where required by law or a regulatory authority
- In a safeguarding situation where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others — in line with my professional duty of care
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and UAE data protection law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
- Right to rectification: you can ask me to correct any inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: you can ask me to delete your data (subject to my legal and professional obligations)
- Right to restrict processing: you can ask me to limit how I use your data
- Right to object: you can object to my processing of your data
- Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time

Complaints
If you are based in the UK and are unhappy with how I have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
If you are based in the UAE, you may contact the UAE Data Office at dataoffice.gov.ae.
